I started Cedar Post Designs to make beautiful Gift Bags that are Unique and Reusable. I was lucky to have the time  to ponder and experiment with different materials and designs. I believe my gift bags check all the boxes. They are beautiful, the fabrics brings a different sentiment to each bag: elegance, whimsey, joy.… They are unique, each is hand made with love; each has matching tissue paper and gift card. The are reusable, these gift bags will be saved, cherished and passed on many times.

In 2017 I founded Cedar Post Designs, in Pungoteague Virginia on the beautiful eastern shore. First to make gift bags for all occasions. The bags are available online and in shops from North Carolina to Maryland. In shops the are displayed on cedar post stands that I make. I enjoy working with my hands so some days I’m inside working with fabric and paper other days outside working with wood and saws. Both are equally rewarding and engaging. As time passed I found new and different ways to use the fragrant  Eastern Cedar found here on the Shore. My Fairy House that can be part of a village or a Christmas tree ornament has Cedar siding and base; the rest of the house is made from grasses, shells and trees all found on my morning walks. The Birdhouse plant stakes are also Cedar with flower buds and grasses decorations. Each items is made with joy and love in hopes that they will brighten someones day as much as they do mine.
