Lucinda Rowe

Lucinda is an artist based out of Roanoke, VA, who lives in a small house surrounded by catbirds, daffodils, and bamboo. She specializes in delicately detailed watercolor paintings of wildlife and nature. She grew up in Lexington, VA where she spent much of my childhood playing in creeks and cow fields, coloring in the tree house, and joining her parents on yearly Christmas Bird Counts. She received an MFA in Children's Book Writing & Illustrating from Hollins University in 2019 and a BFA in Drawing from Guilford College in 2009.  When not busy making a mess in her studio, she is often birding in the Blue Ridge Mountains, transforming her yard into a wild garden, and writing.
