Morgan Peterson

BUENA VISTA, VA

Hi, my name is Morgan Peterson! I am a full-time student at Southern Virginia University, where I am a Biochemistry major and a wrestler. I also own Peterson’s Pens. As a woodworker, I love to build and create things. It all started one spring break when my family and I were staying at my uncle’s house in Connecticut. While we were there, my uncle decided to show my siblings and I how he turned pens out of wood. Making pens out of wood seemed weird to me, but I went along with it anyway. After an hour of him showing us how and letting us make our own pens, I was hooked! I became filled with wonder and questions! Ever since that moment, when I learned that these hands of mine are meant for creating, I have thrived on the ideas of what I can functionally make. Now, I love my job, the people in the woodworking community, and the people that I make smile with whatever crazily designed products I create.
